Elevation Tools

The elevation tools inside the terrain module are extraordinarily easy to use, but at the same time immensely powerful! Create new surface grounds using point elevations in 3D – and the slopes will show in between. Edit, move, alter elevation and everything is instantly updated. You will get elevation plans as well as new 3D-data in order to creating terrain models. You design – and the elevation tools will calculate and present everything dynamically!

Terrain Design

The terrain module also includes several tools working integrated to the terrain model (DTM) in order to create shapes, objects and new terrain surfaces. There are also tools that handle 3D-polylines and contours.

Volume Calculations

When engaged in earthworks and 3D models we may calculate volumes between different types of surface models (3D faces) and get the cut/fill areas. Further on we may calculate volumes using grid models. This allows us to play with subsurface layers when getting hold of cut/fill lines and areas. The result can also be presented in plans and sections.
