Access to data on site

Novapoint GO reads project data from a server, meaning that available data in the field always is updated to all users. By having updated data to all time, you don’t need to be sure to have downloaded the latest version before going into field. Using the same server as a receiver of all registrations in field (e.g. log point, pictures etc.), all users can do registrations in field and upload immediately, so it is available for all users who have access to the project.

Navigation in field

Both in early planning and during construction phase, there is often a lack of setting out poles along the alignment, which tells you where you are (section number). Navigation in Novapoint GO shows you constantly where you are, visually on a map and by telling distance from centerline and section number. High quality picture and maps from Geodata is used as base, which makes it easy to navigate and recognize points in field.

Registration of log point, a digital diary

The main purpose of Novapoint GO is to operate as a digital diary for control engineers on site. You can easily establish a new log point by standing in field and pick up the GPS position and include text tothe position, in addition predefined information field is incorporated. Information field consist of; who, when, priority, process code etc. Moreover, you can attach one or more pictures to the chosen log point.

Visual overview

All log points that are registered in one project, can either be shown on a map or as a list. The list can be sorted in different ways, so it should be easy to find the log point you are looking for. Default is that all log points are sorted based on created date.

PC version for editing and exporting reports

Novapoint GO programincludes also a version for PC. In this version you can see all log points,edit the exact location of the points, in addition to export reports of everylog point included pictures to PDF. This means you can secure files in paper as well as data storage on a computer.
