Project Management
Creating a project in Novapoint is easy, and so is saving it to wherever you want on a server and making it accessible for all the participants of the project organization. The module loader loads all the modules and menus and uses the license either from an USB lock or from the network. A handy function lets you automatically load all menus, but delays loading the license until you start a function in the relevant module. You may also borrow a license from the network, thus you may work with Novapoint without being connected to the network.

Configuration
Specifications for pipe types, dimensions, series and typical cross sections (pipe type and manufacturer, distance between pipes, pipe foundation and protection layer, slope gradient, etc.). Default characteristics from assembly specifications. Setup for presentation and drawing production, including layers, symbols, colors and line types for pipes is included.
Construction
Separate dialogue in which the user can edit all parameters for the trench contents; typical cross section, pipe dimensions levels and gradients, etc. By right clicking the object, a menu starts that allows the user to modify the object in an easy manner. Complete interaction between plan and longitudinal profiles. All modifications made in the horizontal projection are automatically updated in the vertical projection and vice versa. The user can easily create/delete pipe sections, change level, producer or dimension for pipes and objects. Different alternatives can easily be saved for future use and reference. All nodes can easily get new names by renumbering the nodes. Pipe lengths are optimized to reduce the number of joints in a pipe section.
Reports
Predefined reports for setting out and quantity calculation.
Drawing Production
Easy to use functions for making plan and longitudinal profile drawings and cross sections. Designed District heating projects can be exported to 3D for control or for use in Novapoint Virtual Map (VR) for a complete engineering model.
